Drive Inn Theaters

Got to thinking about the old drive inn theaters...Tidwell Drive Inn, Irvington Drive Inn and Shepard Drive Inn.  Putting friends in the truck of the car, driving to the back row and then waiting for the coast to be clear to let them out.  Luckily we were never caught doing that but remember a lot that were....Oh, the good old days!!!!!!!!!!

Drive-ins were certainly fun:  Some of my friends  and I would occasionally sit outside the exit of Airline Drive-in and wait for the traffic to clear from the previous movie, and then we would drive in through the exit.  It couldn't have been any freakier if we had driven into a train tunnel; everyone would be screaming bloody murder until we were safely inside.  Yes, the good old days.
