Does anyone have news of Duane Fitchner (1967)and his wife Susan Kelley Fitchner (1968)?  They lived in Houston for years, and I am thinking that they may be in Atlanta, Georgia now.  Duane's older brother, Billy Fitchner, and his younger sister Verna also went to Sam Houston.  They lived at 4l5 East Crosstimbers.  Duane played football (end) and Susan was a majorette in the Houstonettes.

Have you checked the phone book in Houston?  The last I spoke with him he was still in Houston.  There is no address for him here in Georgia. If you don't find anything out from any other alumni I will give you what info I have. hischild56@comcast.net.

Hi, I'm Wendy Colarik Fischer, Gerald Colarik's sister. As far as I know, Duane still lives in Houston. He and my brother were very good friends and he would visit Gerald now and then. Gerald passed away January 24, 2008 from Heart Disease and complications from Diabetes. Duane attended the Memorial Service we had for Gerald in May 2008, and was still living in Houston at that time. I believe I have his phone number, not sure at this time. Duane & I were friends and we ran together @ Sam and a little after High School. I don't know how to contact him. If I had a number I would call him.

I talked to Duane Fitchner, he and Susan are divorced. He had an auto accident that almost killed him and he is barely getting around. Thanks for the phone number. We are going to try to get together soon. He is living in Magnolia. We talked about old Sam Houston Day's It was fun.
