1714 McDaniel, which was within walking distance of Berry Elementary and Sam Houston High School.

No. After I graduated High School my parents moved to Aldine and later to Sugarland.

No, but I am trying to get back in touch with them.

I was a pilot in the Air Force for 7 years.

What did you want to do or think you were going to do when you finished high school?

I knew I would go to college and study engineering at Texas A&M University, which Is what I did.

What and where was your 1st job? Do you remember how much you were paid?

My first job was working at a sheet metal company during high school making $1.25 per hour. After college I went to work for Gulf Oil as an engineer making $900 per month.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

I enjoy playing golf, traveling, going to Texas A&M football games, and playing with my four grand kids, family get togethers

My wife who is my soul mate.

Is there a moment in your life that stands out? A moment that defines who you are? Other than kids being born or your wedding day.

Resigning from a good paying to join the Air Force for 1/3 the pay. Serving the nation when I didn’t have to serve.
