School Story:

Our favorite teacher was Ms. Gloria Joyce Bibee. One night a bunch of us drove over to West U and wrapped her house. Her brother was in the living room watching TV the whole time. We waited, hiding in the bushes until she came home. She just stood looking at the trees and Monday she never said a word to the class. Back then, it was in our minds, an honor bestowed upon some one we respected.

Wanted to be a commercial artist.

What and where was your 1st job? Do you remember how much you were paid?

My first job was at HL&P and I made about $250 a month.

Yes. I was attending Veterans Day ceremony at Houston Veterans Cemetary and news camera man zoomed in on me while I was praying.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

Carpentry, travel, hiking, working out at the Y and watercolor painting.

Any words of wisdom?

Live your dream. It took me a lifetime but now settled in Prescott AZ with views of the mountains and surrounded by wildlife. Update, moved to Conroe at the end of 2020. I enjoyed Arizona but missed my family here in Texas.
