What do you like to do in your spare time?

I have 6 grandchildren whom I am very proud of and spend time watching all their activities.

The oldest is a singing cadet at Texas A&M. The second on is a freshman in Texas A&M engineering department. I could write pages about my grandchildren.

We take two long camping trips a year about 2 weeks each visiting different places in the U.S.

Name something you dearly love. and why?

Same as above.

Comments:

I married a high school coach who later became a superintendent of schools. So much time was spent watching his games, then my daughters many academic and sporting activities, then my son's football, basketball, baseball, and track events. Now my grandchildren's activities. I feel truly blessed to have been involved in their and their friends life.

Now we live on our family farm outside of Brenham Texas, watching the beautiful sunsets and working hard.

Any words of wisdom?

As my best friend Beverly Jurchak once told me "don't forget to smell the roses"

Stay close to God in prayer everyday.
