School Story:

So much took place in the 3 years at Sam it is hard to focus on just one. A time I remember most is when the Lyon's club donated the large mascot tiger. I never missed another football game after that because I was dating Wayne Nolley, who was responsible for getting the mascot to the games.

Comments:

I married Wayne Nolley while still in school and was a mommy before graduation. After graduating, I worked for an insurance company and a bank. Was divorced after 5 years of marriage. Married Ronald in '68, bringing 2 children to the marriage and moved to California for 5 years then returned to Houston. I attended Cabrillo College while in California. Ronald and I have 2 sons so I became a stay at home mom until '78 when I returned to the working force. I went to work for the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston in the accounting office. Worked in accounting as an expense auditor until 2000 when I began to have heart problems. I retired and had heart surgery in 2000 then came back to UT after taking a year to recuperate. I am now at UT School of Public Health. Obviously I enjoy working at UT. I don't have any plans to retire again very soon. I have enought vacation time to give me the breaks I need from work. The last couple of years I have spent a lot of time in Hawaii visiting my daughter who is now a breast cancer surviver.
