I was married for over 53 years to the boy I married in my senior year.
I am in the process of closing the business he owned for 59 years on
Jensen Drive which gave us a comfortable living.

Where was your favorite HS hangout?

Princess Drive In, Granada threatre but school was my favorite place
because of friends on a daily basis.

What did you want to do or think you were going to do when you finished high school?

Cosmetology, which I did for many years and became the educational director for the J. C. Penneys stores. I also managed a couple of nice salons in the Champions area when there were a lot of European
hairdressers arriving to seek their fortunes in the good ole U.S.A. Loved
every minute.

What and where was your 1st job? Do you remember how much you were paid?

Camerons 5&10 on Jensen Drive $.60 per hour. I started there working
for a little Jewish family two months before my 13th birthday.

What do you like to do in your spare time?

sewing and designing/attending car shows with
my husband and friends. I am a member of a couple of quilt guilds.

Name something you dearly love. and why?

God, my family and friends because they all inspire me daily.
I like to travel because I have an incurable curiosity, but it is really
only the USA because it is the greatest country and so much I haven't
learned about it.

Only trust what you see with your own eyes and hear with your own ears and you will know truly nice people.
