What would we be surprised to know about you?
I have found that thru all the tragedies of my life, the greatest triumphs lay enveleped inside them. After the loss of my mom, My relatoinship with G-d deepened. And after my brother's death in early 2010, I know that G-d along with our love for others, is the only reality that exists. Everything else that exists outside of us is just an illision that we all get caught up in and believe to be true because we mistakenly measure life thru our five senses.G-d never pushes you up in life before he throws you down. And the greater the fall, the higher the rise. When I was young I went to every beer joint and dance hall on Airline I could find. Not to say dancing is bad . I love to dance. But as my life grows shorter I know when I stand before G-d, He's going to ask me What did I do with my life. I want to be able to say I did the best I could with what I was given. What he gave was me was the responsibility to keep my mind on Him and to love others. Also few people know my wife is from Chile South America. We have a home on the Chilean coast, so if hard times hit the U.S., and it will, we'll have a place to go. Also finally the best friends I have had came from Sam Houston. Many people have come and gone in my life, but many of my friends from S.H. will stay for a lifetime. And finally 34 yrs after his death, I still think of Darrell Van Dyke.there are Some friends that leave your life, but they never leave your heart. What a great guy.
