see there is two votes for you to go already!

11/03/08 12:17 PM #1559

Brenda Kasprzak (Schelski)

Thanks Deana. I will probably go. I just think its so juvenile to take me off her friends page. By doing that she also took off her brother. I'm stuck in Jr. High HELL...
On a brighter note... I love that the home page has Bon Jovi. They so still ROCK!!! One of my Favs.

Bren people like that just crave the attention and will take it how ever they can. i agree with V and Deana...just go, be pleasant and enjoy the time with your family, and if she is rude then tell her what Deana said and go on about enjoying your oliday...she's the one that will look like an idiot. Although I am on the evil side with V and if she said something to me I probably could not contain myself or my mouth:) but I would feel so much better afterwards:) Yeah stick with Deana's words...the outcome will be much nicer:)

My grandma is doing much better today. They have pulled I don't know how many liters of water off of her. The nurse told my mom that her going in to Afib that night was probably not related to her sugar dropping but because she had so much fluid on her heart and moving from the wheel chair to the bed was just to much work for her heart. They are still giving her the same insulin at the hospital using the same chart and she has been fine. This has been an on going situation for about 6 months now that has just steadily gotten worse and she will more than likely have to have her mitral vavle repaired/replaced. Well keep her in you rprayers everyone!!!

Bren- I would tell my husband he needs to man up and take care of the situation before I do. He should have never allowed it to get this far.

Brenda Kasprzak (Schelski)

Hey thanks Jenny. My husband has tried to get this settled and every time he tries to talk to her she claims she is busy.
New info... I just found out that Dave's sisters husband is giving her a surprise birthday party this Sunday. He called to invite Dave and Alyssa. Dave said he never said anything about me or Codi. I have to get used to spelling my sons name like this even though I have always spelled it with a y. My ex-husband took care of the birth certificate. I should have changed it but I never did. Now my son wants to spell it with an i so this is not a misspelling of his name. Sorry I fell off track. Back to the other... Her husband did say that he knows its a sticky situation.
I forgot to tell everyone that the wk before I had my SATC party Dave's family had him a birthday party at his parents house. I didn't go because I felt like that was Dave's day and I did not want anything to ruin his special time. He did not want to go but his sister called him to tell him she spent over $60 for a cake and food. This is were I differ from her. I would NEVER tell someone how much I spent on them. It is the thought that counts not the price. He feels obligated to attend her party but he told me he really doesn't want to go. I know why they did not invite me but why take it out on my son and not ask him to come? That's just wrong. Codi said he would not go if he was invited. I told him that's not the point he still should have been invited. He said " mom I would prefer to stay home with you and not get caught up in her mess" I love my son!!!

Everyone on here has been so nice to take time out and post a response for my dilemma.
Thanks to all of you...
Big Smiles
Becky- I'm praying for your grandma.

Thanks everybody! I got to talk to her on the phone today. Her sugar was a little high and she's still a little swollen in her legs but she said she is feeling better. I can't go up to see her cause we all have developed a little cold of some sort. I would feel terrible if she or someone else in the ICU got it.
Anyways thanks again!

Hey Bren...you should just have Jenny do a stand in for ya:)

Vicki Johnson (Patzold)

Ok we need another light hearted subject so here it goes...LOL

Becky and Jenny-remember Mr. Carrol finding out that you to had been in dance together for years and him making you to do a dance for the class? Or Becky you actually bringing and wearing your TOE SHOES in class? I can still see you in your toe shoes and you were writing something on the chalkboard. You needed to write and the very top. You couldn't reach it, so up on your toes you went and just moved across the floor on your toes to write on the chalk board....that was halarious!

11/03/08 09:41 PM #1566

Rebecca Atchison (Welch)

Honestly I dont remember that particular instance...but some things are just a blur. Not to mention the various times I had brought my toe shoes to school. Probably because I needed the practice:) Jenny on the other hand was a natural on toe...ok well...Jenny can just plain dance!

Jenny Davis (Renault)

Thanks Becky.
V- I don't remember that either. Your memory is amazing.I'm sure we did it.

I voted Friday!
We stood in line (Beau & I) for an hour and 20 minutes. The lines were longer when we left after voting, than when we went in, it was an amazing site!
I am proud to see, no matter where the votes go, that soooo many people have exercised their right to vote!
It is truly a gift for us to be able to do so!

Oh, and don't forget to vote for me for...whatever...LOL
Just do it I say!

Deana Sampson (Jenkins)

You are very good LJ.
That I did.

It surprises me alot of times, who people vote for. It's not that I think everyone should have my views, but most people I run into really don't know the issues. They vote for who their parents voted for, or who their uninformed friends vote for. That's what really irks me.

11/04/08 03:02 PM #1577

Brenda Kasprzak (Schelski)

IM JOE THE PLUMBER!!!
I VOTEDED FOR???

11/04/08 03:11 PM #1578

Deana Sampson (Jenkins)

Can you guys believe I missed the whole Joe the Plumber thing?
LOL

I was very studious about candidates this year, even down to the other votes. I don't think people will ever feel the same as another, so I never really get into political discussions as well, but I do find so much of it interesting. Beau is soooo passionate about politics, which is fine. I almost have to remain silent on my choices because he wants to discuss it even when we are in agreeance...LOL...I think that passion comes from being in the Navy, serving our country, which I totally get, believe me. I think serving takes an abundance of courage and self sacrifice. And I am grateful to be in a place where there are men and women who volunteer to do so. Not to mention the families of those people, they sacrifice greatly as well.
For me, I am happy when my choice wins, but I don't freak out about it or anything when they don't. I am just happy I was able to decide where I placed my vote. My one simple, important vote.

Would love to stay and chat folks, but I have to go to Physical Therapy. Talk to you in a few hours.
