William Dupont Jackson (August 17, 1937 - March 30, 2009) Hello Tigers. I come to you with a heavy heart. My father passed away on 30 March at approximately 7:00 pm. He is survived by my mother (wife of over 40 years), my sister, me, 3 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. My daughter and I will be arriving in Houston on Thursday, and my wife from Iraq on Friday or Saturday. The funeral services will be on Tuesday, 7 April. Not sure of the details yet, but I will post them as soon as I get all the details. I don't have to ask for your support or prayers in this time of need, because I know you all will do it without hesitation. I have not gotten in touch with Jeremy Lawson yet, but some how he got word and ended up at the hospital before my sister and nieces did. I really want to thank him for that. My father was the most generous, kind hearted and happy go lucky man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, and I am not being biased. He lived a full life and he touched alot of people. I will miss him and I will always love him.

Not gonna believe this! Jeremy just called me while I was typing this. Strange.

We are slacking people! Someone come up with a topic that we can all get involved in again.

How about some reunion talk. I sent an email out to stir up some chat on the park issue and had a few responses, and we could use some more help and ideas.

I would be more inclined to go to a park than the beach, but for me that has more to do with the fact I live only 10 mins from the beach. My daughter and her friends take off to the beach like most kids go to the mall.

Hey Deana... What about Spring Creek Park in Tomball? I could check into it and let you know availability.
V... Sorry I didn't get back with you last night. Call tonight if you want so we can catch up. My computer is working great right now so if anyone wants to chat I'm here.
Update on the Alyssa's development... Our pediatrician ran some developmental tests on her. She is doing wonderful and is at a 5yr old level on letters, numbers, and colors. She is only two and a half. I wanted to make a copy of the paperwork wrap it up with a BIG bow and mail it to Dave's sister. There is nothing wrong with my daughter and we never thought there was. The sad part is things will never be the same with his sister even if she apologizes. The damage has been done. I just feel bad for Dave. He and his sister were really close and she ruined their relationship. Dave wants nothing more to do with her.
Oh well. Its her loss.

Deana-I was just on the Alumni page. I really like the whole clubs and other note boxes. When are we going to see that on this site?

Thank you all for your kind messages and comments. I am back in Hawaii now. It was nice being back in Houston, but I wish it could have been under different circumstances.
I will still be back in June for the Reunion, but I will have to adjust my time there. My wife will be coming back on R&R from Iraq in June, and I will be going to Diego Garcia in July. I don't know what day I need to report in DG, but it should be at the beginning of July. So I will have to negotiate my Houston time between my wife in Hawaii and my flight to Diego Garcial. Really look forwar to seeing all of you.
Once again, Thank you for all your kind words, comments, and concerns.
