James Beeks

I am a receipt of the 2010 Spring Woods Golf Classic scholarship ($1,000).

While I was a senior at Spring Woods, I participated in the Genesys Works program, which enabled be to be an Information Technology intern at Targa Resources, a fortune 500 company. I believe it was this experience that gave me the confidence to go after opportunities such as the Class of 1969 scholarship.

In 2016, I reconnected with the Golf Tournament Classic as full time employee of Genesys Works changing the lives of students with similar backgrounds (a few of whom attend Spring Woods). I now work in Higher Education.
