Mike Puderbaugh

Michael A. Puderbaugh, 40, of 30 Green St., Muncy, died Sunday, September 12, 2010, at the Williamsport Regional Medical Center following a seven-year battle with lymphoma.

Born May 23, 1970, in Bloomsburg, he was a son of the late Joyce (Rhone) Puderbaugh and Carl Puderbaugh of Benton, who survives.

On October 3, 1992, he married his wife of 17 years, the former Mary M. Wilk.

A 1988 graduate of Hughesville High School, he worked as a drywall finisher at Muncy Homes since April 1996. Mike was an amateur radio operator and member of the Bald Eagle Repeaters Club. He also spent a lot of time hunting and fishing and was a member of the Susquehanna Valley Bass Club, where he served as Vice President. A NASCAR enthusiast, he was a fan of #9 Kasey Kahne.

Mike was a member of Muncy Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife and father are two daughters, Lacie M. and Tori M. Puderbaugh, both at home; one brother and sister-in-law, Bryan and Theresa Puderbaugh of Benton; and one sister, Bethann Puderbaugh of Benton.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 18, at Muncy Baptist Church, Penn and S. Market streets, Muncy. Officiating will be his pastor, Rev. Scott Warren. A time of fellowship will follow in the church social room.

Burial will be held privately in Lungerville Cemetery, Unityville.

The family will provide the flowers and suggests memorial contributions be made to Hope Lodge-Hershey, 125 Lucy Ave., Hummelstown, PA 17036-9134.
