Cleo Lee was born on August 8, 1943, near Hugo and died January 3, 1973, in Texas after succumbing to cancer. She married John Kyles with whom she had two children. Cleo was survived by her husband and two children as well as her sister Dorothy Lee and several half-brothers. She lies at rest in Shoat Springs Cemetery on Fallon Road, southeast of Hugo.

Cleo lived about one-half mile north of me on Fallon Road and we rode the school bus together every day.As things go, we did not keep in touch after graduation. I was able to find out her husband's name and learned a few particulars from him that I will share with you.
She was born August 8, 1943, at Hugo, and died January 3, 1973, in Texas. She married John R. Kyles and was the mother of two children. She succumbed to cancer and lies at rest in Shoat Springs Cemetery about a half mile from where she grew up.
