Hi Kay, great to hear from you- I didn't realize you were in the Dallas area, are you teaching elementary or secondary ?? I loved my years in education, but when the time came, I knew it was time to retire, I was just ready- My wife (who has retired as well) and I are doing a lot of travelling, we went to the Kentucky Derby in May, NYC w/ our grandson in June, and she's going, w/ her mom to Ireland in August- We've been very Blessed......ok, now to the issue of recognizing you, I guess it's safe to say now, after 45 years.....and PLEASE don't take this the wrong way.....but, in the 7th grade, I have to admit, John Cochran had a crush on Kay Westbrook that you couldn't imagine !!!! Typical 7th grade boy crush, I guess- But, it sure helped when we were both officers in the Student Council- Alright, confession over, hope that doesn't make you mad- Anyways, have a great school year, Kay, and I hope we can stay in touch, may God Bless always.....BTW, my wife: Kaye....my daughter: Katherine (Kay).....but I PROMISE it's only coincidental- Have a great year.....John.
