Prayers and condolences go out to Terry's husband and children. I had always hoped to see again after high school though it was never to be. She was an amazing and talented woman and always very kind to me. It is sad to read now of her passing but I know she is in a better place and no longer having to live her life with the pain of cancer.
Though I did not play football, Coach Robinson always spoke to me during PE when he saw me. Several of my fellow classmates have spoken about his leadership abilities as he was a great teacher and leader for our Football team. He took the program from its beginning and built it so that within 5 years Grissom was competing for a State Championship. Coach Robinson will be missed
So good to see you and John at the Reunion Cari.

Happy Birthday Ruth! Missed seeing you last night
Weesner I don't see you listed as coming to the Pizza Party next Friday Night Nor to the 50th Reunion Saturday night. I know there are a lot of people who would like to see you. Hope you reconsider.

Happy Birthday Steve though this will be a day late considering you are a full day ahead of us in New Zealand. Hope all is well with you and the wife and that we will see you possibly again for our 50th Graduation Anniversary on Jun 14th & Jun 15th, 2024.
Mike Morelli was a guy who I knew much of my life because he lived on the same street that the Sloans lived on (Shannonhouse road). My father grew up with Mr. Sloan and they had been friends since the 1920's. I knew both Mike and his brother Rob and remember when they both worked in the restaurant business both running two different restaurants called Old Farm Beef House with one in Huntsville and one in Decatur. Mike was a great guy, full of life. I only learned of Mike's passing from his brother at Tracy Henderson's funeral which came as a shock to me. May Mike rest in peace as 2023 has been a year I have lost many of my oldest friends Mike being another of them.
Tracy Henderson was one of my 2 oldest friends with the other being Jimmy Weatherly both who I met around age 5 or 6. Tracy lived 2 houses down from me with Kay Marshall Shrout in between us. Tracy and I were as thick as mud until he went off to Korea and I went on to college. We remained friends for life and did so many things together as he was a very likeable and fun person to know. We were rascals that was for sure. He was so proud the day he had a son (chase) with his wife Angela and even prouder the day his son graduated from the University of Alabama. He is survived in death by his older brother Jay and older sister Stephanie. I will for one always miss Tracy as he will also be a large part of my life growing up. May he rest in peace.
Terry was a neighbor of mine living off weatherly road and I ocassionally drove him to high school at Grissom when I picked up other friends headed to school. Terry was a very nice guy and I am glad I had the pleasure of knowing him and his brother Ray. I was very late in learning about Terry's passing as we had not seen each other since we graduated high school and I had hoped to see him at our 50 year reunion. May he rest in peace.
Keith, Come to the Grissom 50 Year Reunion next June 14 and 15. The 15th I believe will be at the Space and Rocket Center.
Connie was a classmate of our in the 1974 graduating class and I am so glad several of us got to reconnect with her when she came up to Huntsville for a get together. I remember Connie as being one of the smarter people in our class. I was sad to read of her passing and send blessings out to her family. Too many of the class of 74 have passed. May she rest in peace.
