Steven Vincent Mitchell was born 31 May 1956 in Huntsville Alabama, and passed away on 28 October 1991 in Philadelphia, PA. He was only 35 years old at the time. He was the son of Woodfin and Sarah Mitchell. In the early 1950s his father, Woodfin, established a construction company in Huntsville (Mitchell & Hunt) that was highly successful and he enjoyed collecting model trains and antiques until his death in 2012. Steven's mother and his two sisters still survive him. I have been unable to obtain any information on Steven's post high school life, with regards to his further education, family, nor the cause of his death. If anyone has more information, or memories, please add to his story.
Steve died due to complications from AIDS in the early days of that epidemic before any effective meds were available. I learned this from his father about a year afterwards.
