I have many fond memories of Mike. He played football with us for Coach Joe Perryman, Coach Robertson, and others. It was the first game of the year and Robertson called for a long pass to Mike. He catches the other team off guard and sprints for a touchdown. As I recall, that was the only score of the game.

I remember that green Pontiac he had. It was fast, but not quite as fast as my Chevelle. We had small block engines that were quick, but not match for the new rat motors that were coming out in the late 60s.

It was fun partying with Mike. When we went across the river, they wouldn't card him. I guess he looked older than the rest of us.

Mike, we miss ya.

I knew Mike since grade school.  It's so hard to grasp that he's no longer with us. Odd thing is that I was just telling my husband about some of the kids I went to school with and Mike was one of them.  Rest in Peace and my thoughts and prayers go to his family.
