Jensine HUSBAND Henderson

After graduation went to work for City of Jacksonville. In 1966 Married David Henderson class of 1964. Received my real estate license in 1974 and worked in the Northside until 1982. In 1983-1990 worked for Southeast Toyota. We moved from the Northside in 1986 to Bryceville, FL We have lived in Orange Park since 1994. I went back into real estate in 1991. We were Gator season ticket holders for 20 years. GO GATORS. Went to all the Gator's National Championship Games. David retired in July, 2016. We went to Alaska in 2016 to celebrate our 50th Wedding Anniversary.

Went to Lola M. Culver Elementary School from 1st to 7th grade. Panama Park was our play ground. During that time we had a Park a Director named Pete. He formed a girls soft ball team. We played against all the parks from downtown Jacksonville to the Trout River. Panama Park was the gathering place for all the kids. The Park was open in the evenings during the summers. Having somewhere to go that was supervised kept us all out of trouble. Then it was Kirby Smith Jr. High School where I joined the band and chorus. Was in the French Horn section with Mary Jo White and Diane Wilkes. There was one other French Horn player but cannot remember name. In the band we went to all the Parades and concerts during the two years in Jr. High. Then to Andrew Jackson Sr. High School. That's where I met my husband. Those were "The Happy Days". If there was a club or organization I was in it. I was in the band in the 10th grade. Went on to Cheer and played softball & basketball. School was fun. Great memories and friends.
