Graduated from ECU in December 2001 with a BSBA in Marketing. I worked for NextMedia selling radio ads for WRNS 95.1 and Bob 93.3 for a while. Then worked for The Hammock Company doing online advertising and sales. Sometime along the way I met and married Ken (11/30/02) and moved to Zebulon. In Jan. 2003, I started working for LoneWolf Publishing selling print advertising for The Guest Guide. I traveled a lot and it got old so I started working for WebAssign.net an online homework and testing service. In June 2004, Dylan arrived, but he got his Angel wings in September 2004.

We were already planning on moving back to Jacksonville, but postponed that a few more months. Between September and December when we finally moved, I decided to become a teacher. Since I already had a business degree in marketing, that is what I could teach. I love it!

I went back to ECU to get my teaching certificate. I finished that in June 2006. I then got my MAEd in May 2009 from ECU.

Moved to Wilson, NC in December 2011. I began teaching at Hunt High School Feb., 1, 2012.
