An acupuncturist and herbalist, I have been dispensing medical advice on the web since 1998. I was schooled in Hong Kong and San Francisco, and I've been practicing since 1987. I am co-founder of the Shen Clinic and co-founder of the popular Dr. Shen line of natural medicines, sold nationally in many natural food stores. I have published articles in the California Journal of Oriental Medicine and online on acupuncture.com. My book, A Patient's Guide to Chinese Medicine was recently published by Bay Tree Publications. I am also adjunct faculty member and lecturer at AIMC, Berkeley's Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College.
