My life has been wonderful. I chose great parents, a great wife, a great kid, marvelous daughter-in-law, and three terrific grandsons. I was one of the first five people in the country to get a LLM in Environmental Law, in 1969, and my career has been varied and eventful. My wife is a retired lawyer.
Since I retired, I have been active in a variety of projects with Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy, centered on opposition to radical Islam, and opposition to the Obama regime.
In August, of 2008, for our 40th anniversary, my wife gave me a motorcycle. For our 41st, she gave me a brand new Harley Road Glide. I sold the bike for our 50th anniversary and I now run around in a blue Mini Cooper S convertible.
In 2012, we moved to Mount Pleasant, SC, just outside of Charleston. In August, '22, we moved to Daniel Island (Charleston), which is a spectacularly wonderful place to live. I used to write a column for the Charleston Mercury, and am member of the Charleston Symphony Orchestra Chorus (bass!). I give speeches about Israel, and I am a political activist (on the right side). On Sundays, I occasionally greet guests at Hyman's Seafood Restaurant, the most popular restaurant in Charleston.
It may make people nauseous, but I can't imagine anyone happier than I.
