We dedicated the John C. Seel kindergarten in Ra Man Village, Xy Commune, Quang Tri Province, Vietnam, on September 18, 2018, to honor our dear friend. The kindergarten will provide early education for the ethnic minority children of Ra Man Village, teaching them Vietnamese (which is not their native language) so they will have a chance to succeed when they enter grade school (which is taught in Vietnamese). I did not know John but mourn his untimely death as a casualty of a misconceived effort by the United States to do good for the people of Vietnam. It is just by chance that I explored this site again today. Best wishes on your effort to carry on, these past 49+years.
