After almost 11yrs on the Garden Isle of Kauai we have returned to the Jefferson area. We had a good Catholic school on Kauai through 8th grade but the only High School option was public and there's a reason HI ranks #49 in education.
We wanted the kids to have the same good highschool experience we did so we boxed it all up and here we are. It has definitely been a good move and the kids have gone beyond adjusting well (to everything but the weather) and are doing great and are all now (my youngest was born in HI and can't understand what her ancestors were thinking) glad they are here.
