Graduated from college in December of 1992 with a degree in History/Secondary Education. After college, I taught history and coached football on the Lake Traverse Indian Reservation in South Dakota for three years. I was offered a head coaching job in Colorado in 1996, so we moved into the San Juan Mountains until 1998. I got hired at Howard Lake, Minnesota in the fall of 1998. In 1999 I took over the football program, and in 2002 became the head of the Social Studies Department. I have been an assistant wrestling coach since 1998 as well. We live about 12 miles from the school and about 2 miles from my wife's parents. We are blessed in that they live on a lake, so we basically camp out there all summer. All of our children love the water...we have the older three skiing as much as possible.
