Served in Livorno, Italy, Saigon, South Vietnam, Fort Bliss, Texas, Fort Sam Houston, Texas, Madigan Army Medical Center, Fort Lewis, Washington. Spent 12 years with Kansas City, Kansas Police Department in various positions and retired as Assistant Special Agent-In-Charge, Office of Inspector General-Investigations , U.S. Department of Agriculture, Great Plains Region in 2002, and as Colonel, Medical Service Corp, National Disaster Medical Systems, U. S. Army 2005, with 32 plus years of service. Recently authored "Inevitable: The History of The Beta Lambda Chapter, Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., January 19th,1919-January 19th, 2019 and Beyond" of which Sumner Academy graduates Cynthia L. Robinson Fails and my grandson Sharrone D. Berry-Davis were responsible for the the book design and cover design respectively. The book was released February 19, 2019 and can be purchased on the kcalphas.com website ($75 hardcover and $60 paperback. Silver Life Member KCK NAACP.
