From Kents Messages and the Photos he posted I could tell how Proud he was of his Wife and Family and his Life. I always thought, What a Rich Man he Was. Family, Friends, and a Life you Love, yes, he was a Rich Man!

Well said, Cathy.
Rest in peace, old friend.

Kent Hothan, born January 24, 1951 in Julesburg, Colorado, passed away peacefully in his home, on July 11th, 2014. He provided for the family he loved, a beautiful home and property that could hold his ever-growing family. He leaves behind his wife, Mary McDonald, their children, Matthew, Mariah, Claire and Carolyn Hothan, his daughters Amber Kliss and Clea Hall, grandchildren, Aurelia Kliss, Amren Hartleigh, Landon and Wes Colwell, Rowan Cornelison and three brothers, Fred, Lonnie, and Lynn Hothan. Kent worked on the railroad, did many construction jobs, and especially loved adobe plastering work. His skills were applied towards building his own home with the help of many friends and many work parties. His history is rich with family and friends. Kent’s favorite expression: "The Hippies Were Right!”. No public services have been scheduled at this time.
