RYAN - Karen (nee Anna) Beloved mother "Mummie", residing in Charlotte, NC from Kenmore, NY, passed Wednesday, January 14, 2014 at age 70, dear sister of the late Charles Anna, Jr.; survived by her loving sister, Deborah Topolski of Kenmore and brother-in-law, Richard Topolski; also survived by her three caring daughters, Amy and Sara Ryan and Eileen Ryan-Manley, all of Charlotte, NC and former husband, Kevin Ryan of Kenmore, NY; cherished grandmother of Molly Anna Manley. The family will be present to receive friends and family Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the LESTER H. WEDEKINDT, INC. FUNERAL HOME, 3290 Delaware Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday morning at 10:45 in St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Kenmore, NY -

I am so sorry to hear of Karen's passing. Jerry and I send our condolences to her daughters, son-in-law and especially her granddaughter Molly. Knowing Karen, she would be a loving grandmother.
Karen and I enjoyed our high school years together. She was also a bridesmaid in our wedding (Jully 1967) but had an appendix attack and ended up in the hospital on that day. No fun then but we laughed about it later.
I am sorry we lost contact with each other but I often thought about her, Jill, Patty and Kevin. They were good years and I will remember them fondly. She was a loyal friend.
