Sadly, I announce the death of Margaret M (Quimby) Skretny. Marg passed away after a brave battle with cancer on January 2, 2016. She is survived by her husband of 49 years, Paul, their two daughters, and two grandsons. Also, survived by Kenmore High School graduates, sister, Mikell (Quimby) Haskins and brother, Stephen Quimby. In the 1970's, Marg & family moved to the New Orleans area. Later, she & Paul moved to Waco, TX.
She & I were best friends at Roosevelt Elementary, Kenmore Jr High and Kenmore West. We communicated during the years, but became close again in the last three years. She was always so much fun, optimistic, kind and loving. Those whose lives Marg touched will never forget her... Elaine (Skrobacz) Snedden

So sad to hear about Marge...she was my very first date in high school...we remained good friends through the years at KWSHS, but lost touch after graduation...as happened with so many old friends. May she, and the souls of all the departed rest in peace...
