A beautifull lady . she should have been our homecoming queen, but the winner and 2nd place persons had siblings in lower grades and students in those grades voted for them. Only seniors should vote. Hope was one of a kind. Never a nasty word about any other person did she mention. We will all miss her. My sympathy to her children.
I did not know Hope Johnson, but she became a hero of mine. On the first day of our senior year, she jumped up and ran out of Miss Breiseth's English Lit class. She had evidently put up with Breiseth previously, and was unwilling to put up with that sleepy incompetence for another year. If I had known what Hope knew, I would have followed her out the door. She must have been a person of fierce integrity.
Yes, Hope was a beautiful lady;both inside and out. Don't know why she came up the site today as she died in 23. She and I had hours long brother/sister like talks over our years at Bradford. Mostly about my friend, Paul Pifer whom she loved very much at the time. I loved her too, but for Paul.
