Ann was a classmate of mine in the old Weiskopf School on 50th Street. When she arrived at our school in the later grades, she had traveled and changed schools quite a bit because of her dad's service in the Coast Guard. He was assigned to command the local stationl on Simmons Island. I'm glad she had a chance to finish school in Kenosha because she had traveled so much. Ann was an attractive, intelligent girl who I remember as a friend to everyone. I was sorry to learn of her premature death.
Ann was a friend to many in high school. She reached out to several of us and even had an overnight at the Coast Guard quarters for 10 of us. We had a lot of fun playing "got you", in the dark!! Shortly after high school, her father was transferred again - to St. St. Marie., MI.
Ann stayed in touch and notified us she had cancer - we were all only 20 and 21. She passed away during one of those years and now is in Heaven with our Holy Father.

p.s. Diane Owsichek was one of the friends at the Coast Guard house. She and Ann are blessed to be together, again.
