When everything made in America that goes into these cars stickers were applied to the door frames of the Jeeps and Ramblers it was something to be proud of and Kenosha prospered; then the unfreindly corporate raider takeover and ultimate destruction of the company Kenosha soon became a welfare town attracting outsiders with no ties to our small town Americana like flies to honey and the disdain and disrespect that goes along with it was inevitable.
Rosie DeAngelis; lincoln Jr High with sisters Veronica & Joanne, had the pleasure of tying her brand new white figure skates in the warming house at the Lincoln Lagoon at night with a full moon and the gas street lights burning, she glowed then with the most radiant smile I have ever seen ! Then came our Sophmore year in the old Annex building the first day of the school year and she was there in the same classroom with me in a short tight skirt, white bobbi socks and that absolutely beautifull smile, a ray of sunshine lighting up the entire room, an unforgettable girl who has held the key to my heart to this very day and always will
