We saw Trace So many times this last year, mu husband told me I had to stop...Trace would think I was stalking him, like there was something wrong with that?

I tend to be at my happiest when I'm:

With my family, enjoying a Cubs game, watching a movie, camping....having coffee with my hubby on the deck at Common Grounds in the summer time....cruising in our 1988 Chevy Camero z-28....with the top off and listening to George Strait!!

Comments:

Life has been an amazing journey. I spent a semester at old PU (Parkside) and didn't like it... ended up at Gateway for a degree in accounting.

I met my awesome husband through a mutual friend at a Jackson Browne Concert in the summer of 78 and we dated for 6 years before we got married...I guess anything worth having is worth waiting for!

Bounced around a bit before landing a job downtown at Barden's in 1986. I started as the Invoice Clerk and ended up doing everything under the sun... but it was an amazing learning experience.

Tim was born in 1987 and Andy in 1989. I was lucky enough to work part time when my kids were small and than my in-laws watched them for us.

We got involved up to our eyeballs in Boy Scouts with the kids and were in it for 15 years!!! Now I am knee deep in two different Military Mom's groups.

Our oldest son is US Army and looking at his second deployment after Jan of 2009. He was injured in Iraq in January 2007, he was the lucky one. One of the boys he had been with for 18 months was killed. They sent Tim home to recover and he has been in Colorado since.

Our Andy is off to UWW to become an elementary teacher this fall. It will be very lonely around here without his sense of humor and laughter. He is a budding Thespian, working stage and house crew all four years in high school and was on stage for a number of plays in his junior and senior years. Maybe someday he will be famous and then I can retire!!!

I have been so blessed to have good friends and caring family along the road. My mind often drifts back to my friends at Bradford and the fun we had.

I am soooo excited to be coming to the reunion this year!!

School Story:

I remember Sharon Warner and I running all the time....she mentions this in her profile...but I remember her and I standing on the front steps waiting for my than boyfriend Jeff Magnuson to pick us up in his 69 Nova...she looked at me and asked what's a Nova...I told her hell if I knew!! He found us and we ditched school for a death defying ride!!

I also remember all the basketball games and that cute guy from Horlick!! Jeff VanHara, who I have reconnected with about two years ago and we chat a lot.

Terri Gilliland (Jandrowski) has been my best friend for more than forty years....good times, bad times and all the stuff in between. We drifted away from each other a bit in high school, mainly I think because she was a year behind me. But we have been together since she was in first grade and I was in second.

Terri and Sharon are the type of friends that help you stay grounded! Thanks to both of them.
