Mary D. Bradford High School - Kenosha, WI
Class of 1978 |
Welcome to the Bradford Class of 1978 "Annex!" Over the course of the past 16 years, we have outgrown this site and many of us have already headed over to our sister site, Bradford High Class of ’78 on Facebook.com. We urge you to join us there, too! However, this site will continue on as our class "Annex" where you can refer to our Classmate Profiles page (a roster of our class), help us find our Missing Classmates, and view classmate memorials on our In Memory page. This Annex also serves as a "reference library" containing our past history, etc., and as a way for you to connect with and to message your former classmates. So, we actually have two official, Bradford High Class of '78 websites! Just like the two buildings we had back in high school, right?
Also, a special thank you to our classmate, Chuck Runge, Honorary Bradford78.com Site Sponsor for the March, 2024-March, 2025 subscription year, who volunteered to cover the cost of $24.95 to renew our domain name for another term. Also many thanks to classmates Rich Rawlings, Frank Parise, the late Paul Ek, Christoper Pierangeli, Tammy Seleski Shepard and Rene Douglas Lowell, our former site sponsors for the last six years. Your generosity is very much appreciated as it keeps this site going!
So, this website is for you and it's FREE for you to use! Simply click on Classmate Profiles at the left and if you're from our Class of '78, find your name on the list. Then, register to log in and create your own profile page where you can upload photos, and let our classmates know what you've been up to... or share a school memory. As a member, you may also send and receive messages; so, be sure to Check Messages and feel free to participate in our class Message Forum. Please be sure to keep checking back for updates and new postings; and let others know about our site, too!
If you're not from our class, but are a friend to the Class of '78 and would like to join our site, please press Contact Us to send us your name, including maiden if applicable, along with your senior class year and we'll add you to the list. Guest members are listed separately at the end of the Classmate Profiles page. You can also create a website like this for your own class by clicking here. Or... see if your class already has a website by scrolling down to our Announcements below.
If you ever need hotel accommodations while you're in town, try this link for the Kenosha Area Convention & Visitors Bureau: www.kenoshacvb.com. Then click on "Places to Stay" and then "Accommodations." You'll see a listing of some of the hotels located in Kenosha, along with their contact information if you need to make reservations.
Also, while you're in town, you might want to take a "field trip" through our old stompin' grounds. Simply park your vehicle by the streetcar terminal/shelter located on the northeast corner of 54th Street and 8th Avenue, and for some small change, hop on the rail streetcar that loops around every fifteen minutes or so. It tours past the former Bradford, the Dinosaur Discovery Museum, the Kenosha Public Museum, and the Civil War Museum in Harbor Park. All three museums are open during the week and on the weekends. It’s a fun way to see some of the special features in Kenosha and its beautiful views of Lake Michigan.
