U.S. Navy 1982-1986, stationed in San Diego, CA (NAS Miramar). Worked on F-14 Tomcats as a Plane Captain and then in Supply. My squadron helped make the movie "Top Gun".
Got married to my children's father in 1986 and moved to Denver, CO; moved back to Kenosha in 1995 after my divorce. I have worked for the County since 2001.
In my spare time, I love to garden and do crafts. Recently, I have been teaching myself cooking skills such as canning, fermentation, baking bread, (before the pandemic, lol), as well as learning about medicinal herbs and foraging.
Update: I retired from Kenosha County after 22 years. Now working for Aurora part-time until we're ready to full-time retire (hopefully next year 2024). I am newly married and we're looking forward to travel the USA via our travel trailer.
