I joined the Marine Corps after graduation. I went to boot camp in December. I have worked on F-18s for the past 18 years, and just recently started supervising the teaching of avionics in Florida. I am a volunteer football coach for one of the parks in Pensacola, and let me say that is probably the second most enjoyable thing I do with my spare time after my daughters.
Unfortunately they live in Ohio with their mother, but I am able to talk to them at least 3-4 a week.
I will be retiring from the Marines next year after 20 years of service.I can't wait. I'm still not sure what the future holds in store, but I am willing and able to make the best of any situation.
This past weekend I was in DC, and I completed my first marathon. It took just over 5 hours. Great feeling.
