ARLEEN BRIGGS WERMELING

I have retired from the Kenosha News after 35 years as an executive administrator to the late Howard J. Brown, president and owner of the Kenosha News.
Married 47 years, two daughters. Love to golf, bowl, take casino trips and trips of all kinds in general. Adore and cherish my four granddaughters. I just enjoy sharing my life with Mr. Roger and whatever comes my way since I had a major heart attack this Feb. Ended up with 4 stents, both left and right carotid surgery and open heart surgery with 4 by-passes. Who would have thought. Life is good.

I remember when Linda Nietzel was to be prom queen, I was the cheerleader. With split shifts we figured we 2 would skip early and get our hair all done, etc. for the prom. I got caught and ended up in Stoker's office. No real punishment except a lower grade in phy. ed. I loved school, still do. Met so many wonderful kids who have turned out to be best friends still. And to think we are the FIRST graduating class of Tremper High School.
