Predictable and Fun to Watch!

Double Exposure (1944)

Directed by: William Berke
Double Exposure is a quirky, tart, and enchanting little action comedy.
Also a quaint look at gender roles in the forties, the film starts with
a kooky newspaper editor who accidentally hires a woman, much to his dismay!
Crisp, biting dialogue punctuates memorable interactions between the fiery characters.
But the film also includes some thrilling action sequences, as common office politics
get overshadowed by kidnap and murder. But never taking itself too seriously,
Double Exposure keeps its amused and pleasant edge throughout the rollercoaster of action.
Double Exposure is a splendid example of why sometimes simpler is better.

Runtime: 62 min
