Hi Everyone,

There is a small group who has started forming a committee for the 50th reunion.  If you're interested being the chairperson and/or committee member, please contact Margaux Shaw.  If you have any suggestions for them, please share them with her.

Thank you to all of you who supported me during my time as your Chairperson.  See you at the 50th.

Robin

ROBIN....

Happy to do the name tag thing again.  I will still be working in 2020.  Not retiring until 12/31/2020 unless someone has a money tree they want to plant in my yard.  My boss thinks I am never retiring!  So, will not have enough free time to help in any of the pre-planning this go round but am happy to do the name tag detail again.

Kathie

Kathie,

If you find that money tree, I want one too!  Thank you.  Please pass on to Margaux what you can  do to help for the 50th.  I have officially retired from both Chairperson and committee member.   LOL  Three times was plenty for me!

Take Care,

Robin

Robin, thanks for all you've done as Reunion Chair and working so hard on details for the reunions.  That was quite a sacrifice of your personal time.  I'd be glad to violunteer as "Name Tag Guy" next time if you need someone to help Kathie.

Thank you so much Scott!  You're too kind.   I'm sure Kathie would love to have you help her!

Robin, Thank you so much for the well wishes!  I am hoping to get back to my old self soon and would love to see you at our 50th!  Still remember when you came into 4th grade as a new classmate.  You were very sweet!

My Dear Old Neighbor Debbie, Sitting in a holtel room in Boston wating for my bride to finish preening for an event we are here to attend and was plowing through emails when I stumbled on you message. I must say I was struck in many ways. You certainly learned to write well somewhere along the now lengthy road of life. And were I Little Red Riding hood I might observe what big teeth you have too. But since I am not, I won't. Keen to see what you all cook up for this pending grand occasion especially since I have not been able to attend one since the tenth in 1980 when I saw you last. I dare say I hope that I can stay on your good side.

All the best.

Chuck Gallagher

Good Morning, ll and t

I've tried sendng Jill a private note but have had issues with the site sending.  However, I then need to send this note.  Jill is 100% right as stated by Debi.  I apologize to Jill and the entire class for this fiasco.  It turned into a bigger issue than necessary.  I thank everyone for the private notes I've recieved. I can't laugh at as I just reall want anyone to have a choice.

Robin :-)

The good news here is that our group has people who are already so invested in having a great 50th reunion!  There are always lots of differences to work through and decisions to make.  The passion people bring to the issue shows that the ultimate goal (having a great reunion) still resonates with so many of us.

From my Washington State home I look forward to the reunion, even with it being 4 years away!  I love the idea about a poll for possible dates as we get closer, and for anything else that is thrown on there.  I'd be glad to help out from a distance however I can.

Thanks to all for your commitment to making this happen!

Liz and Dale,
Kudos for posting your thoughts - they are appreciated! It does indeed show there is definitely interest in getting the ball rolling; while that will be slow at first, it will pick up as time goes by :-)

So I don't see my post apparently we are not being allowed an opinion on this site??? I don't know who removed it but it wasn't me and there was nothing offensive in it.  Is this how the reunion is going to be run?

Wow, Liz, I hope not. Garrett, what say you? I saw it yesterday and this a.m.it was gone.

Hi everyone!!

It looks like there are numerous posts that have been deleted.  Do not know why.  ???

Hi, Jill! Debi and Robin deleted theirs... Liz and I are trying to figure out who deleted hers... Welcome to As LCHS70 Turns :-)

I deleted Robin's posts for Robin. Debi deleted her own posts. I must have accidentally deleted Liz's post. @Liz -- just repost it.

Is what I am reading really happening, or is this what happens when old age sets in?

Hi,Tom! Call it a moment of temporary senility on all parts :-) I am going to search for my smelling salts and take a genteel sniff, then go rest on my fainting couch and fan myself a bit - my corset must be too tight...

Hi Garrett and everyone, I read the survey on our reunion.  It seems a lot of people don't want a 3 day weekend.  I was thinking if we wanted it in La Canada to hold it at the La Canada Country Club and then have a picnic the next day at the high school.  The only problem I see with this though is the travel to a hotel nearby and after an evening of possibly drinking and driving that would maybe not be so good.  Any ways just thought I would throw this out there as it is big enough to have a crowd and the views are spectacular (if there is no smog).
