Craig died in a motorcycle accident prior to graduation. Here is a note from Laurie Frazer Haslund from the old LCHS70 forum on Yahoo groups, with a follow-up from Jim Herbert:

That was Craig Andrews.  He died before our senior year.  He had an accident on the old road between La Canada and Altadena at the end of the Arroyo.

I do believe that John Coombs also died on a motorcycle with his wife(or girlfriend).  Lindy Millikan and Exia Hammel have also died.  Sorry to report these.  Lindy was one of my first friends, 2nd grade at Oak Grove.  Craig was Jeff Kwasny's best friend.  It was hard to ever find one without the other.

They will be missed.

bike under a car with his girlfriend both died.
