Lesley Foss King

After high school, I went on to Meredith College and shared my dorm experience with none other than Kim Sanders! We had a great four years, I graduated in 1992 with a BS in Biology and a minor in Chemistry. I also earned my MRS. degree there. I met Keith and we got married in 1992. After taking a year off from school I was accepted into Pharmacy School at Campbell University. I graduated in 1997 from Campbell and got my MOM degree that same year. My first born Carey came along in December of that year. He is a joy and keeps me busy. Playing travel baseball is just one of my many extracurricular activities. I took my first job, straight out of school at Lenoir Memorial Hospital and stayed there for 9 years. During that time we welcomed our second born, Mary George in 2000. Everyone says she looks just like her Mom and acts like me too! I don't know if that is a compliment or not, we'll see. She is into dance and piano and all other fun girly things!!!I left the hospital in 2006 and started my new career in long term care pharmacy. Taking care of the elderly is interesting to say the least. I enjoy my profession and am very lucky to work part time which allows me to spend more time with my kids. As you all know they are a full time job. And it seems that the older they get the more work they become. It is so much fun and both my children are really good friends with Stephanie Ham's kids. Its a small world, it just all seems to come full circle.
