Felecia Lenore Exum died in the fall after we graduated. Many of you remember her getting sick on our Senior trip to Disneyworld. Felecia entered UNC-Wilmington in the fall and died not long after the semester started. Felecia was a wonderful person and is missed by all who knew her.

I went to school with Felecia for 12 years. We grew up together, in fact her house was right behind my grandparents house. We were always the tallest ones in our class and therefore always on the back row of all class pictures. I remember her getting sick on the Senior trip. It was so sad when she passed away. I miss her and think of her often and wonder what she would have done had her life not be tragically cut so short. She was so smart and ambitious, I know she would have been very successful.Andy Lovette
It was one of the saddest things I can remember, being a pallbearer at Felecia's funeral. She would have done great things. We'll have a lot of catching up to do one day.Kim Smith (Strong)
I will never forget the sadness we all felt when she got sick on our senior trip. Then what a tragedy when her life ended. I will never forget the many people who attended her funeral. She was an unforgettable person who would have done something great with her life had she ever had the chance. I think of her often.Angela Jarman (Perry)
I will never forget Felecia, that was my girl. I remember when Kim Bizzell used to be her boyfriend and he used to sneak over when her mom was at work. She was smart and sweet but we were some sneaky little girls.I was at the hospital when Felecia took her last breath and I still can't believe that she left me at such an early age. Cancer was not a disease you heard much about back then, but it took my best friend. Felecia, I hope to see you at the gate when I get to heaven. Much love.

Angie Jarman and I were both there at Greenville hospital the day she died. I can still see Felecia's mom leaving her room to tell us she was gone. Angie and I were blessed to see, talk, and encourage her the week before. Felecia never complained. She was a wonderful person and I consider knowing her an honor and a privilege. I miss her.Sylvia Johnson (McAllister)
I spoke with Felecia's mom and she is willing to give me pictures for the reunion. I'm picking them up tonight.Sheila Poole (Graham)
Felecia will always be remembered as a sweet and kind person. We sung in the Lagrange Comm. Choir together. I can remember her singing her last solo and getting sick afterwards. She could barely get the words out. She sung I Wanna Go To Heaven when I die, this was at Lovick Chapel in Jason. I had no idea she was sick. Maybe one week and a half she was dead.It hurt. One thing I have learned over the years. God dont make mistakes. Felecia is in a place I hope to be one day. Rest in Peace My Friend.
