Evie was one of my best friends at Helix. We were in choir together and she had a beautiful voice. She was so smart and kind and she always seemed more mature than the rest of us. I miss you, Evie and I am so glad for the entire page you wrote in my yearbook reminding me of all our fun together. Love, Maia

Although my heart aches everyday, missing my friend, Evie, I realize how fortunate I was to be best friends with her during a unique time in our life.  One of the greatest gifts she gave me was a scrapbook she had made for me on my 18th birthday.  When I look at the scrapbook it helps me to remember the good times we had and how we enriched each others' lives.  Evie is survived by a wonderful husband who devoted his life to raising their two sons whom she left behind when she passed away.  The oldest was 4 and the youngest was barely 1 at the time.  I am fortunate to remain friends with her husband and he keeps me posted on how their sons are doing.  The oldest is now 22 and recently got engaged.  The youngest is 19 and is getting ready to start his second year of college. I am so blessed to be able to know your two wonderful boys! I miss you, my friend!

Memories of Evie included cruising with our Pintos, Avenora Guys, Robert & Terry laughs, crashing Halloween party, t.p.ing, riding moped, creating our Big TEN drink, passing notes in class, Chinese fire drills, locker fun~Beth? Frog? lol, her love of mom and Greek family, her smile, wine coolers, beach, special moments with Beth Tanya Carolyn Julie and Sandy. Young Life, Vickie and Jane. We had our ups and downs, but always seemed to find our hearts connect thru God and forgiveness. She is missed and has a special place in our hearts
