Hi Everyone.

It is great to have a website of our very own!  Hopefully this will be a good tool for reaching out to our classmates.  I certainly had no intention of getting involved with reunion planning, but it happened!  It seems that I sent Laura Enos an email on January 3rd to wish her a happy birthday...and before I knew it, she and Tom Boese hooked me in.

So now the work begins!  We need to get connected with our classmates, so that once the information comes out about our 50th reunion, we will be able to communicate properly.  PLEASE send a note to as many people as you can (E-mail, Facebook, LinkIn, etc.) and encourage them to visit this website, and sign up.  Also let us know if you are interested in serving on the reunion committee.  Information about the reunion will be posted HERE, as soon as it is available.

We look forward to having some fun and hearing from you.  Join in on the conversation! Just press "Post Response" to enter in on the discussion.

Fondly,

Beth

Just for fun, I looked for a Lake Forest High School web page.  Well, of course there's a web page!

Here it is:  http://www.lakeforestschools.org/lfhs/index.aspx

Cheers,

Tom J.

The hardest part about being a website administrator... is receiving notices of the passing of our classmates.  It reminds me of how special each and every one of YOU are!!!

Thanks to this website... I discovered that Carroll Wetzel (Wilkinson) has lived about 45 minutes away from me for the past 30+ years.  We are getting together over coffee, in February.  Can't wait!

I had a delightful lunch with Carroll Wetzel Wilkinson today in Morgantown, West Virginia.  Amazing how 50 years can disappear so quickly.  We felt like we were right back in Lake Bluff, reliving times on our bikes, at the beach, at piano recitals, etc.  Now that we have discovered that we are 'neighbors' we look forward to more get-togethers (not to mention... the 50th HS reunion).
