Class of 2024 Senior Parade &  Sunset

What: A parade around the lake to North Cove to celebrate your final sunset as a senior.

When: June 10th, 2024, line up beginning at 6pm ending 10pm Parade departs Highland at 7pm

Where: Line up - Highland Elementary, ends at North Cove Park.

Hello Seniors and Parents!!  Mark your calendars!!  Here are all the details that you are asking about!!  We have coordinated with the City of Lake Stevens and LSPD to bring you a fun evening of memories.  Seniors or senior parents (that are driving) will begin lining up near Highland Elementary behind the Chicken (thanks Shane) at 6pm. Feel free to decorate your cars as much or as little as you want.  Please note that per road laws students are not allowed to ride in the back of truck beds. At 7pm the Chicken and LSPD will take off on our parade route thru the s-curves at the school (watch for the drone).  The parade will continue around the lake (refer to the map above) and end at North Cove Park.  We have hired local photographer Dave Durkee on drone and a still photographer for the evening at the park.  As a special touch we are doing a “toast” to the future at 830 (or when everyone arrives).  The rest of the evening is yours.  We have the park until 10pm.  We will have garbage cans for you around the area so please make sure your trash makes it in the bins.

Parents…if you are driving your senior.  You may drop off and pick up your senior or have them arrange another way home after the parade.  Senior Sunset is a SENIOR ONLY event.  We have 5 parents for North Cove, pouring drinks and clean up crew for the night.  If you are not driving your senior you are welcome to line up along the route and cheer them on from there!!
