What to expect on Grad Night?

Need to knows before you leave for the ceremony

  • Confirm you have paid for grad night, signed your waiver and have chosen a bus (we will send out an email the night before.

  • Pack a change of comfy clothes (unless you are wearing what's under your gown)

  • Make sure you have a hoodie or something warm

  • Closed toed shoes

  • Socks recommended

  • Clothes need to be in a 12x12 clear bag (arena approved).  Your parents will carry them in and then give them to you after the ceremony before you come downstairs to the green room to load onto the buses.  Make sure you give your parents your cap and gown.  If this is an issue please connect with me Rebecca (4252390358) so we can make arrangements

  • DO NOT BRING ANYTHING WITH YOU EXCEPT YOUR PHONE!!  You do not need your keys, money, wallet, NOTHING.

After the ceremony

  • You will have plenty of time to take family pictures and enjoy the moment.

  • After pictures, change your clothes (if needed) and give your parents your cap and gown.

  • About 9pm you can head down to the green room (follow the signs) on the ice floor

  • As soon as the 2025 volunteers are ready for you, you will begin the check in process.

Check-in

  • If you have a hoodie on, please take it off and also remove shoes.  Yes you are getting patted down.

  • If you have brought something with you that isn't a banned item you may stop at the first table and your item will be bagged (or marked with a band) and will go under your bus for the night.  You will get it back when we return to Costco the next morning.

  • If you have brought a banned item, we have anonymous drop boxes, no questions asked.  If we find something on you during the pat down or after, your parents will be called and you will be sent home.

  • After pat down you will then move on to your colored table.  Don't worry, if you don't remember there are people there to help.

  • You must then re-sign your waiver, you will have a wristband put on (we are doing that for you), you will get a snack bag and head to the waiting area.  There will be water!!.

  • Once there are a few seniors from your bus, a chaperone will walk you to your bus.  You will check in with your head chaperone.  Once you are on the bus you must stay on.

  • After all seniors have been checked in and are on the bus, we will do a final head count and head to our first venue!

The Drive

  • Your chaperones will have a couple of things to hand out on this drive for Venue #2.  We also have trivia and raffles (if you didn't get through all of them in the first leg).

Home arrival

  • Parents need to plan on being at Lake Stevens Costco about 5:45am.  See attached map for pick up area.  All seniors will receive an envelope when they get off the bus.  If they won an additional prize it will be marked on the front of their envelope and they will need to visit our prize trailer to pick up their item (or arrange for delivery if you cannot transport it).  Inside there is a small certificate that you will hand to our prize bosses :)

  • Please make sure when you get off the bus, to clean up any trash you have and also thank the bus driver for their time!

Buses will enter in where the arrow is and park where the straight line is.  Parents please park in the red circled area.  Costco Gas opens at 6am so we are trying to stay tight to that area and get out of there as seamless as possible.  If you are unable to pick up your senior please arrange for them to have a ride home

Thank you all for choosing to spend a safe and fun evening with us!!

Congratulations Grads!!  We are so proud of you!
