I attended ENMU for one year before transferring to NMSU in Las Cruces. Absolutely loved Cruces, but it took me 5 years (including summers) to get through college. Yikes! I couldn't make up my mind about what I wanted to be when I grew up. (Actually, still not sure what I want to be.)
Graduated finally and began teaching in Socorro, then moved on to Albuquerque for a while, went home to Vegas for a few years, then landed up in Amarillo.
I have two kiddos, whom I live and breathe for, of course. I might even consider having another...hmmm...we'll see about that.
Currently teaching Kindergarteners. I prefer 5 year olds, as they are typically still nice and they are under the impression that I have some sort of authority (Ha! all you teachers know that's just a myth).
