Brad Bywater

Well, I've been up to a lot since graduation! I first attended a year of college in Idaho, afterwards, I spent 2 years in Brazil on a mission for my church. I came back, moved to Gilbert, AZ, got married in 2003, and finished up my bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition from Arizona State in 2006. We had a daughter in 2005, she's now 3 and a real joy. We're expecting number 2 this July. We moved up here to rainy Oregon in 2006, where we've been up to now. I'm currently starting my 3rd year (of 4) of optometry school at Pacific University College of Optometry. I'm on the Navy HPSP scholarship, so I'll be practicing for 3 years with them after graduation. After that, who knows where we'll end up? I'm sorry that I won't be able to attend the reunion, since I have summer school this year, but it's great to have this website to keep up with you all. We had an awesome class where I met some of the best people I've ever known.

Man, so many..... a ton of volleyball stories, but I guess I'll share an embarassing one for me. I had fallen asleep in Dr. Lindini's govt. class, and he said something to me to wake me up. So i woke up, and had to wipe the drool off my face while the whole class was watching. That was pretty funny. Also, I'll never forgive Matt Higginson for finding out my middle name was Gordon sophomore year, because 'Gordo' became my new name from that point on. I also was called 'Lurch' by my volleyball teammates, and I never understood why until I finally watched an episode of "The Addams Family" in college. I immediately created a new hairstyle!
