Lori Jackson Evans

After high school, I went to college in California. I worked full-time and went to school full-time. In 1982, I got a new roomie who was a Christian. It wasn't long before I accepted the Lord at Calvary Chapel, W. Covina. I married a fellow Christian in 1983. We moved back to Vegas where I had my son Chris. We then moved back to Cali and then back to Vegas! Sadly, my husband had a problem with the fidelity part of the vows. We divorced in 1989. I was angry at him and God....so, I threw myself into my work and the old party world. Those were some dark years. Thankfully, in 1997, that same college roomie who led me to the Lord called and told me that I had better straighten up! God would soon give me up to my worldly ways. I humbled myself at HIS feet and have been there ever since. In 1999, my son and his good friend Warren, decided that Warren's dad and I should be a couple. Doug and I had never met, but I knew Warren since the boys were in the second grade. Marlena, Warren's sister soon joined the team and it wasn't long before Doug and I were married. He is a man devoted to God. He leads awesome bible studies on Wed nights here in our little town of Salmon. I'm so thankful for the grace from God that I was given through Jesus!
I was diagnosed with MS back in 1993. It has been a battle,but Doug got me started on a supplement program called Body Wise. I'm happy to say that I've been in remission since April of 2000! No more falling down, no more pain! I now work for the company. It's my mission to help people make healthy choices.

Geez, football games, parties...there are so many memories!
A few that stand out...
Coach Gutowski's class - Jeff Foutz and I would always compete for the better grade. We'd all be waiting to hear what grades Coach would call out!
Terilea Kostner and I hiding in the trunk of Angie Parent's car to sneak into the drive-in. We got caught and thrown out.
Went to prom with Jerry Gardner. "Always and Forever" was the theme. We walked in and Jerry yelled, "Suuu-weee" at the top of his lungs...I was mortified! And remember the band only new a few songs? Always and Forever got old after the hundreth time!
Went to the Aladdin to see the Beach Boys with Bob Lear, Todd Runnells and Terilea.
