Well, I was in law enforcement for 12 years, after spending 14 years in the military, 10 in the Navy and 4 in the Army. I wrote a book of poetry seven years ago. Currently working on my second non-fiction. Oh I went out for the San Diego Chargers, but was cut at the combines.

Eldorado was an experience, going out for the football team only to be cut, wow that hurt. Joining ROTC hmmmm, which gave me the military bearing I would later need, met some good people and felt accepted. It was still a challenge, because we were thought of as nerds. Didn't help to boost my self esteem. That was so long ago. Life is better now.
