Remembrances

I wanted to start a post to help us remember those who have passed on.

I remember Commander Jensen, and how he was always so ready to help, even when I didn't really want it.

I remember Senior Chief Goodland, and his Irish coffee. I don't know if it really WAS Irish coffee; I just know that he had the rumor mill going that if you needed a "hair of the dog", his thermos was the place to go. And yet, he was always so helpful, and never snapped at us, even when he probably should have.

I remember Don English. I don't remember what year he was, but he was one of my first friends in the Corps, even though he was several years ahead of me. He was such a sweet guy.

I remember Stacey Dunaway. I wish she hadn't passed so tragically. I wish I could ask her just one question.

I'm sure there are others who have passed, too. These are just the first names I remember. May they all rest in peace.
